Swami Swaminathan

Swami is a career government contracting professional, who has worked in the GovCon industry for over 17 years. For almost 17 years, he has been heavily involved in helping the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) with many important programs (Medical Review, Information Technology/IT, Program Integrity, Healthcare Quality, etc.). He started his CMS career with the implementation of Value-Based Payment programs for CCSQ under the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Since then, he has supported programs for various offices and centers at CMS. Swami brings in the blend of his technology, strategy, and program delivery background to help CMS and other healthcare clients. He served as an advisor to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of CMS by being a CMS technology board member. Swami brings strong CMS domain expertise, governance, and, more importantly, existing relationships with many key stakeholders at CMS. During his tenure at his previous company (RELI), he worked tirelessly with his team to expand the business to other federal healthcare agencies including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Indian Health Service (IHS), Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services (SAMHSA), and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
